Martin Hollingsworth (Marv)

Married since 2003 to my long suffering wife Lisa and a father to my beautiful daughter Ava

My current role is serving as a full time Firefighter on the Red Watch for Durham City and surrounding towns and villages.  I've been doing that now for around 10 years and have loved every minute.

I'm also one of the lead coordinators/instructors for Durham YFA (Young Firefighters Association) working with teenagers from varied backgrounds which is extremely rewarding teaching them all the skills necessary to hopefully one day become a firefighter.

Previous jobs/roles include being a Soldier in the British Army and working for Nissan UK

I've also volunteered for the charity Changing Lives, working with vulnerable adults who have been made homeless and had drug and alcohol addictions.
