Did you know Ā£140m worth of textiles are sent to landfills every year in the UK! ššš
ā»ļø At Sacriston Youth and Community Project we try to proactively work and deliver in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way; so we can do āour bitā and also educate the generations of the future to make conscious decisions around sustainability and waste. ā»ļø
We are therefore doing a šcall out š for any uniforms you have that your children may have grown out of that we can redistribute to local children to challenge the throw-away society outlook on clothing.

We are collecting the colours of the four primary schools who we have a consortium with alongside the secondary schools far-and-wide as we know many young people travel for secondary education in particular.
