šŖ The up-cycling workshop delivered for us by RecycLD is about taking on larger items for a project šŖ
š§āāļø This week we spent some time practising to be patient š§āāļø
ā”ļø Our younger members have bags of energy but not so much patience and are always dying to get stuck in
š©š¼āš« To teach practising patience we explained that the creative process takes time and requires
⢠preparation
⢠visualisation of an end product
⢠use of the right tools
⢠focus on brush strokes
š The children were kept on task by reminding them of the ground rules for the project.
šš¼āāļøOnce the children started their project they became really focussed, the concentration was intense. Everyone was so calm šš¼āāļø
š We also spent time selecting the best paint bushes for the project.
š© The session ended with everyone scoffing donuts and sausage rolls which were donated by Greggs.
𤩠Our SYCP kids never cease to amaze us in our sessions.
Well done everyone šš»
