๐Ÿช‘ The up-cycling workshop delivered for us by RecycLD is about taking on larger items for a project ๐Ÿช‘

๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ This week we spent some time practising to be patient ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ

โšก๏ธ Our younger members have bags of energy but not so much patience and are always dying to get stuck in

๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿซ To teach practising patience we explained that the creative process takes time and requires

โ€ข preparation

โ€ข visualisation of an end product

โ€ข use of the right tools

โ€ข focus on brush strokes

๐Ÿ“œ The children were kept on task by reminding them of the ground rules for the project.

๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธOnce the children started their project they became really focussed, the concentration was intense. Everyone was so calm ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

๐Ÿ–Œ We also spent time selecting the best paint bushes for the project.

๐Ÿฉ The session ended with everyone scoffing donuts and sausage rolls which were donated by Greggs.

๐Ÿคฉ Our SYCP kids never cease to amaze us in our sessions.

Well done everyone ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป
