I have been a Youth Worker for over 15 years and have a degree in Youth and Community Studies.

With a degree in Primary Education and QTS under my belt, I've been at the youth project for 6 years now. I've worked across the majority of sessions but have found that my passion is working with our young people aged 8 to 19 years old in my capacity as Inters and Seniors Lead.

I have been volunteering on and off at SYP for three years now! I have volunteered in almost every session running at SYP, including: Minis, Juniors, Inters and also Seniors. My favourite thing about volunteering is seeing the children interact with each other and have social interaction away from school whilst having the mix of play and educational activities, it is amazing to bring something special and very much needed to a community

 

When I am not at the youth project, I am a vocalist for Park Dean Resorts. Performing is a deep passion of mine and I love bringing this passion to my volunteering role.
