IWD 2022 Break the Bias

Today is International Women’s Day

A day we celebrate the achievements of all women across the globe.

Children begin to form gender stereotypes from a very young age. Therefore all of our sessions from minis to seniors incorporate strands of equality and diversity to support our young people make informed decisions and choices.

Our Step Up Sisters and Working to Wellness sessions are designed to raise the aspirations and confidence of the female participants (aged 13 to 66), break down barriers that hinder progress or achievements and introduce them to inspirational women.

Meet some of the “Inspirational Women” who are part of the SYP community.

“Women like you, pave the way for women like me and for that I am grateful”

“I am learning every day to allow the space between where I am and where I want to be to inspire me and not terrify me”
