⚠️ With an amber weather warning for gusty winds today we made the decision to not go to our Forest School Site in the woods. 🌬
🪵🌳🍁🍂 Instead we brought Forest School to the community centre and still had just as much fun.
🐛🕷🐜 We made name necklaces, went on a mini beast hunt, hung out in hammocks, made clay creatures and monsters, used tools to make a wind chime and elder jewellery and made two different types of bird feeders which we hung in the trees. 🐦🕊🐿
💨🔥 Again due to high winds we couldn’t cook our campfire veggie soup and herb & cheese damper bread but we still made and enjoyed it indoors. 🍲🥖
🔥🍡🍡We even managed to toast our marshmallows 🙌🏻
🥰 Such a fun packed day but fingers crossed this wind calms down for our future sessions outdoors. 🌳🌴🍀🍃
