Bullying and Cyberbulling

Bullying is when someone is mean to you on purpose. Bullying can include someone:

  • hitting, kicking or starting a fight with you

  • saying nasty things about you

  • leaving you out

  • spreading lies or rumours about you

  • stealing and damaging your things

Cyberbullying is bullying online. It can happen on social media, messaging apps, online games and other online places. It can feel hard to escape from. 

​

For all types of bullying, speaking to someone and getting help is really important. If you are being cyberbullied, you can block people on most social media sites. You can find lots of tips and people to talk to in the resources section below.
