Today we started the Easter celebrations with Sacriston’s annual Good Friday Walk of Witness.
The Walk of Witness make a welcome return in 2018 after years of absence. After a two year pause due to Covid, it made another come back in 2022.
This year’s event was organised on our behalf by one of our volunteers, Martin Hollingsworth from County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service who also led the short service.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son.” John 3:16
Thank you to the youth project families and members of the community who took part and joined us afterwards for fish and chips.
This event has become an annual tradition for the youth project and our village. It was great to see you all taking part today.
