Minis and juniors October Holiday Club

Holiday Club

Our Autumn holiday club was so busy, we didn’t get to do all that we had planned.

The children had non stop fun between 8:30am and 5pm. The JD Foundation funded our food and resources. All staff volunteered their time and our volunteers gave us a whole day of their time so that the minis and juniors could attend holiday club 🆓 of charge - how amazing is our team and funder please?! 🥰❤️

👯The children were split into three groups to ensure everyone was able to participate in the activities.

What we did 👇🏻

🧸 We started prep for Children in Need, following this year’s theme “Together We Can”. We will continue the activities and raising awareness until Children in Need day

🌼 We cared for the environment by litter picking and planting bulbs in the park

🧙We had a witch hunt, following clues planted around the park

👦 We played together in the park

🧶 Indoors we had a choice of activities with our Craft and Creative Carousel

🎃 We each carved a pumpkin to take home

📽🍿to wind down for hometime we watched a Halloween movie with Halloween treats.

What we ate 👇🏻

🥐breakfast was a selection of breakfast pastries, cereal, fruit and fruit juices

🍝 lunch was a choice of pasta bolognais or mac ‘n’ cheese

🥪 tea was a packed lunch box

🥶 Today the children received a free SYCP hoodie to keep them warm during the cold weather.

🎃💀Remember youth club is on at the normal time tonight for mini’s and juniors. It’s our spooky Halloween disco, fancy dress optional 🧙👻
